Hello and welcome to the YMDA flickr account. This account will serve as a palce to gather photos from any member and than I will add sets to the site. I have built into the new site a few different ways to accept photos from flickr. One is thru the xml/rpc call as you see here basically a auto post to the ymda blog.. another is in the sidebar a nice flickr widget with photos that can be set several different ways..I will post more info on how anyone can add photos even if you only have a few..at a later date..

We have a new site here built on the new xml framework by Darcy Clarke. It is easier to maintain and allows for fast upload of photos and video as they come in..and it also works on most  small devices..For example your iPhone or iPad or Android or other smart phone..Notebooks tablets and the like..This site features state of the art media queries which is a code for the web that automatically scales a site to the size of the device that the person is using..cool huh..:)

Update: All done except to refine the navigation. As I see how its used..I will make adjustments..My goal is to simplify all the time.

On the home page now there may be too many links but with this framework alterations can be made on the fly.

get the the trip year they were taken and credit to the photographer as well….Than a additional area for just as much of Bernie Friels photos I can get and I do have some..This area will be the historic archive..

All of the photos are now on the new free flickr account and I am adding more..Ill add galleries here to this main site as I sort them out..We really just want to keep this site to the last few years..and some historic photos.. here is the link to our flickr area..   YMDA FLICKR
