Note*** 12/1/2025  In the event of the lift not yet being in operation at Golden Peak, Manor Vail, and Vail Sports have arranged to provide complimentary ski storage with “Vail Sports” at Vail Village.  Indicate you are staying at Manor Vail, and you can avoid lugging your skis at the end of each day back to Manor Vail.  Additional locker rental is available for walking shoes and ski boots.

As we gear up for the 2025 YMDA skiing trip, it’s important to know several key details to ensure a smooth journey. Please remember to check in at least 1.5 to 2 hours before your flight at the Humphrey Terminal. Our flight SW #3316 departs at 11:40 am from MSP to DEN for those traveling with us. Upon arrival, buses will depart around 1:45 PM. If you’re not flying with us, please meet at the Southwest carousel. Room Captains should check in at Manor Vail’s front desk upon arrival. Enjoy free ski storage at Vail Village Sports, and don’t miss our Get Acquainted Party on December 11th from 5:30-7:00 pm. Departure options from Vail are available on December 14th. Southwest Airlines Travel Details

For those flying with Southwest Airlines, please ensure you check in 1.5 to 2 hours before your flight at the Humphrey Terminal. Our flight, SW #3316, will depart at 11:40 am and arrive at 12:45 pm from MSP to DEN. You are allowed to check two bags free of charge, with skis and boots considered as one bag. Upon landing, buses will leave around 1:45 PM. If you are not flying with us, please meet at the Southwest carousel. We aim to make your travel as smooth as possible, so please adhere to these guidelines for a hassle-free experience.

Baggage Policy

When traveling with YMDA, each participant is entitled to check two bags at no additional cost. This includes a combined allowance for skis and boots, which are considered as one bag. Please ensure that your luggage adheres to the airline’s size and weight restrictions to avoid any inconvenience at the airport.

For those bringing additional equipment or oversized items, it is advisable to contact the airline in advance to understand any potential fees or special handling procedures. Proper labeling of your bags is recommended to ensure smooth transit and retrieval upon arrival.

Ground Transportation Details

For participants not traveling by air, please convene at the Southwest Carousel at the designated time. The buses are scheduled to depart promptly at 1:45 PM, ensuring a timely arrival at our destination. It is crucial to arrive early to facilitate an orderly boarding process and to avoid any delays.

For those requiring alternative transportation arrangements, please coordinate with the YMDA staff to ensure a seamless transition. We recommend checking the bus schedule regularly for any updates or changes that may occur closer to the departure date.

Upon arrival at Manor Vail, Room Captains are required to proceed directly to the front desk for check-in. Departure Options from Vail

Important Departure Details for 2025

For your convenience, we have arranged two departure options from Vail on December 14, 2025. The first bus will be available for boarding at 9:00 AM and will depart promptly at 9:30 AM. The second option allows for a later departure, with the bus ready for boarding at 2:00 PM and leaving at 2:30 PM. Please ensure you arrive at your chosen bus spot on time to guarantee a smooth departure. We recommend checking your itinerary and planning accordingly to avoid any last-minute rush.
